Saganaki – Docklands

Saganaki is one of Docklands most beautiful restaurants with views across the Docks. From the moment you step inside this place there is no doubt what kind of food will be served, Greek!! From the blue chequered table cloths to the decorated walls, not to mention the statues, this sure gives you that Greek feel. To add to the atmosphere, Saganaki have a large television on the wall showcasing the traditional music film clips from Greece.

The service was very fast, and not long waiting times between meals. The perfect way to start off your night at a Greek restaurant is with a platter of dips, and you will not be disappointed with the dips this chef has to offer. When I was choosing my mains, I thought i would stick to the Traditional Greek and go for the open Souvalaki, and I will definitely be going back there to get that again. I didn’t try any of there desserts, but they had a decent range to choose from.

Saganaki also offer banquet meals, which are a great way to try all there famous dishes. For $59.00 per person you can try around 8 dishes, served at your own pace. If your new to Greek food, then a banquet is something you should think about sampling.
