We started of with some hot drinks, the mocha was so impressive. I loved the look, how the chocolate sat on the bottom. When I got half way through my mocha, I did the wrong thing and stirred the drink, this made it super sweet with chocolate, a bit too much for my taste buds. The espresso was good too, not to strong or bitter.
The pain au raisin was just like an escargot. They heated this pastry up, and it tasted so nice and sweet, this goes very well with coffee.
I thought I couldn’t leave with out trying some macarons, they looked delicious sitting in the display cabernet. They had a lot of varieties to choose from but when I asked for some, they said they had run out, and they said that for 4 of them. It seemed strange seeings it was 11 am during the week, so I left it up to the waiter to decide on 2 different flavours for me to try. They turned out quite nice, I had the champagne and the passionfruit flavours.

Oooh, champagne macarons with a cup of hot chocolate would do me wonders right now. It’s cold and dreary here today. If only I had a Lindt cafe around the corner.
Well Australia are almost in summer, but it’s pouring with rain right now, so yes, a nice cup of hot chocolate is on the cards
Passionfruit is my favorite flavour… I’ve tried them all. But nothing compared to the 2 macarons I’ve tried from Zumbo!
I still haven’t tried zumbos, hopefully he comes to Melbourne soon
yum! The champagne flavour sounds beautiful!
