Parkview Hotel, St Kilda
I recently enjoyed breakfast at the Lime Cafe and Restaurant on St Kilda Road, It is located on the ground level of the fabulous Parkview Hotel. Its not the first time I’ve dined here, I’ve also enjoyed many dinners here before, and have quite enjoyed the restaurant.
For breakfast I tried the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. I also asked the waiter to add onto the plate some mushrooms and spinach, and it turned out to be a great combination. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was just beautiful.
The one thing that always stands out at the restaurant is how quiet and peaceful it is here, you just relax and go at your own pace. There is never a feel of a ‘hurry up’ to get out of your seats, and the waiters too are very relaxed. They are open everyday from around 6:30am till late and offer Modern Australian Cuisine.
Lime cafe and restaurant also cater for any function or gathering no matter what size the group. You can also have a preference of a private and intimate dining experience if you prefer.
They are located on st kilda Road right next to Albert Lake, a fantastic position which allows you to take a stroll around the lake afterwards, or take a walk down popular Fitzroy street. Trams are also just a step away, so you can take a 5 minute tram ride into the CBD for shopping or entertainment.
